Dr. Nedra S. Kinerk Emerging Leaders Scholarship (Application)

Futuro RGV will award one $1,000.00 scholarship. Applicants must be enrolled in a 2-year college (part-time or full-time), a 4-year college (full-time), or a graduate/professional degree program (full-time).

Applicants must have a high school diploma, a 3.00 college GPA, and at least 12 college credit hours (dual enrollment and AP/IB credits are applicable).

Applicants must also be U.S. citizens, legal permanent residents, or DACA recipients who have a permanent address in Hidalgo, Cameron, Starr, or Willacy Counties.

Deadline: March 31, 2025 before midnight. Finalists will be contacted for an interview.
